Eight Capital Partners is the private equity arm of Eight, dedicated to creative-led real estate investment.
Eight Capital leverages creativity by applying world-class design and branding that unlock the latent potential of undervalued real estate assets in commercial, residential and hospitality. It often involves new concepts for retail, restaurant and entertainment venues, art and culture, and events. This helps transform the assets, making them more liveable, more visible, more inspiring, and more valuable. These efforts help change cities for the better by injecting renewed vibrancy and creativity into neighbourhoods.
Eight's team has built their know-how over 25 years of undertaking turnkey projects for clients – Blackstone, Capitaland, Hines, LaSalle, HongkongLand, Mori Building, Xintiandi...etc – across most Asian key cities: Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore and more. Over 1 billion square feet of real estate have Eight's fingerprints on it.
We are highly collaborative and understand the dynamics of many different types of stakeholders. Projects may involve the private assets of family-offices, underperforming assets of investment funds, or specific portions of large development projects. And in each case, by bringing creative design combined with value-added financing we completely align our interests with those of the owners.

Case study / Odin Niseko Our first and perhaps most well-known transformation project began in 2007 in Niseko, Japan, on the northern island of Hokkaido. The work has involved new-builds and renovations of residential projects, retail (attracting brands such as Moncler and Burton), a hotel, and a number of dining venues, ultimately establishing a renowned luxury brand - Odin. The projects have been extensively covered in the global press including in the Financial Times, Air France magazine, Vogue, Monocle, Wallpaper as well as a number of architectural books.
